What Is This Book?
It is a logic puzzle book with a cozy Christmas story: no grids to fill in and no hard math. Instead, you search a big list of names. Each person has a few small Christmas icons next to their name, like a candy cane, a bell, or a snowflake.

- 18 clues
- 1 secret name to find
- A short Christmas story told in 8 parts.

How Does It Work?
It is simple to learn:
- Open the Christmas Register. Every person has a name and a few icons.
- Read the clues. Some clues are about icons. Some are about the letters in a name. Some are about the people next to each other.
- Cross out the names that do not fit. Each clue removes more suspects.
- Keep going. When only one name is left, you have found the person who sent the letters.
- Check your answer. The final name is coded, so you cannot see it by accident. The full solution is on the last page.
Here are some real clues from the book:
- The person’s name contains 3 through 7 letters.
- Using A=1 through Z=26, the person’s name has a total value greater than 40.
- No one else in the same row was seen with the reindeer.
Small clues like these look easy alone. Together, they make a fun puzzle to solve.
